This is our policy regarding player profiles and the level of privacy that we offer.
We have implemented the ability to set your character profile to private if you so desire. To do this all you have to do is email private@yg.com or send a PM to ygadmin with your character name AND server name and we'll take care of the rest. E-mail addresses are not stored and are immediately deleted after our confirmation e-mail goes out.
Having your profile set to private will keep any information that is not normally able to be seen in-game hidden. Currently this ONLY includes character equipment. Any information that is publicly viewable by other players such as name, level, guild, PvP information, professions, etc. can be publicly viewed by any player and is not covered in our privacy policy.
