because one scanner next all traders is more cool :p

I stand at the Tarantia Trader for 1-2.5 hours almost every day, the days i dont play i just log in for that purpose...but i guess im invisible.:)

Most likely what has happened is the profiler was offline either while we added upgrades to it or network issues. However we'll take a look to make sure there are no bugs that are causing certain players to be skipped.

I have some guildies on Wiccana who are trying to get some of their missing toons into the DB.

So specifically, is the Tortage Trader the only NPC we can visit on Wiccana to get our profile added?
Also, are some times better than others to be at the Traders and waving at your profiler?


BTW: I've always loved YG and am very happy you have so much good content out there! I just joined the forums today, but should have done it a long time ago...

Fury was down in Tortage for a bit but is going back up now. As for adding players to guild lists, they would need to be re-profiled as everything happens automatically. We are working on a guild issue right now however where sometimes guild information is not sent to be updated. This should be resolved shortly.

Just double checked the list and updated it. As for a best time I can not say. We keep the profilers up as much as we can. The best advice I can offer is if you go to the designated area and you do not see your profile added or have an updated timestamp within five minutes of going there the profiler is not likely running. That or nothing changed on your profile.

I have 3 characters listed on Wiccana that left Tortage long before YG appeared on the scene and haven't been back (Fallon, Fallyn and Fallynn). One profiled last night (Fallynn) after visiting the potion merchant in Kesh City. She was not listed yesterday and I went there on purpose to see if she'd show up. Voila!

I don't mind that the scans are going on, but I do find it odd that there is clearly at least one other location outside of Tortage on Wiccana and it's not disclosed.

We have our primary locations listed that we try to keep up at all times but we do add new locations from time to time for testing.

I'm wondering how my character is in the database. Is the Trader at Tortage in the Set server one of the scanners now? It's not listed in the sticky. I have my Demon in the DB and haven't been outside of Tortage. My other two toons aren't in there yet.
